Polypropylene (PP) is a very lightweight material (lighter than water). It is resistant to chemicals and fatigue, highly translucent, and has excellent electrical resistance. Its interlayer adhesion is exceptional, making it possible to print airtight containers. Additionally, it is made from raw materials that are suitable for food contact.
Technical Information:
– Material: Polypropylene (PP)
– Diameter: 1.75mm
Printing Conditions:
– Nozzle Temperature: 220°C – 240°C
– Bed Temperature: 30°C – 100°C
– Recommendations:
– A brim is recommended to improve adhesion.
– PP adheres well only to itself so that you can use transparent polypropylene adhesive tape or Magigoo PP on the bed.
PP’s unique properties make it an excellent choice for various applications, especially those requiring chemical resistance, fatigue endurance, and food safety. Its ability to create hermetic seals and compatibility with food-contact materials expand its usability in numerous industries, including packaging and food storage.
